Canon AT-1

A few simple animations of a Canon AT-1 35mm film camera.

One of the biggest hurdles for me as a 3D artist has been learning how to think like a photographer and apply all of the technical concepts to improve my work. Thankfully, my wife Megan is an amazing professional photographer and I have learned so much from her over the years about lighting, focal lengths, etc.

The camera model and textures were downloaded from CGTrader. The studio and lighting setup was built inside Cinema 4D. The shots were animated in C4D and rendered using Redshift. Color correction and compositing were done in Adobe After Effects and the final shots were edited together in Premiere Pro.
